Aligarh College for Women was established in 1991 under the auspices of Tehzibul Akhlaq Trust, Lahore. Initially housed in Aligarh Public School for Girls, it has now been shifted to its new purpose-built campus adjacent to Aligarh Public School Gulberg, Lahore. Its magnificent architectural campus provides the best possible facilities to create an environment conducive to study and learning. It is equipped with all the latest facilities required for a model center of excellence.
Facilities at College
The premises have spacious and modern lecture rooms, technologically advanced laboratories for Computer Sc., Physics,Chemistry,Biology, Home Economics, Psychology and Fine Arts along with the supportive facilities of a prolific Library, Multimedia room and Cafeteria. Separate Conference Room and Admin Block for the faculty and administrative staff respectively add to the state-of-the-art layout of the campus.

General Aptitude & Ability Test
- Students opting English literature and / or Fine Arts must appear in an aptitude and general ability test before getting admission.
- It is mandatory to qualify the test in order to get admission in the relevant subject. However, those who fail to qualify shall be adjusted in other subject groups.
- The standard of aptitude test shall be that of Matric level.
Change of Subject
- Students may change their subjects with the permission of the Principal within the prescribed time (as notified by the college).
- The application on the prescribed form for change of subjects must be submitted to the Vice Principal only.
- Change of subject is not allowed after the prescribed time.
